Floran are... odd creatures to say the least. I worked for the Hylotl Mining Industries, and my asteroid trawler was shot down in New Chicago's gravity well by Floran pirates, left the rest of my crew dead and me barely alive, and a Floran of all people dragged me out of the wreckage and helped me to the hospital.

Long story short, you can't judge every single Floran by stereotypes. Some... hell... MOST, are dangerous, but you have a fair few that are good honest people just trying to make a living.
