Sorry, I'm just a stickler for rules. I don't know about you guys but I really like being told what I can and cannot do by trusted and respected people. I love the idea of an authority looking out for my best interests.

 

Authority only works if the people upholding it are decent people.

Fair enough, however, most rules are common sense things. Essentially "Be a decent, respectful person." is what all rules amount to when bound together.

 

That is basically my point, if you are looking for a loophole, or a way to get around the rules....
You are probably already in the wrong.

On an earlier note of race specific curse words, its really hard to flavor text that kinda crap because of the words literal meaning as well to how its used as an insult.

 

Agarans deserve special mention. They're a CANONICAL race, however they'd be near impossible to play because of how they communicate and how aggressive/chaoticly inconsistent they are. Also deadly spores.

 

Something along the lines of "CHOOSE-ABLE RACES ONLY" should work fine.

 

I simply bring it up because, while it's a common sense thing, I've seen multiple threads/complaints about people wanting to play Agarans. And technically speaking, there's nothing that says they can't.

 

I'm not getting at you or anything, I agree, especially because florans can have a natural mushroom top hair(leaf?)do. (its the cutest shit too tho)

Is it ok for a character to be a clone, as long as its part of the backstory and such?

 

Personally, I don't see why not. So long as they aren't cloned again.
Although don't take my answer as "yes", because the majority of the rest of Staff may disagree. We'll have to talk it out.
In the mean time, I'd hold off on making such a character.

 

I already did, Flora is that char, and shes not one of those "hue hue hue ima put my mind in a clone to live FOREVER" clones, shes like a boba fett kind of clone, if thats not ok then I will change my backstory, noone knows it ICly anyways

Really glad to see that these rules have finally been put into play. I know that a number of them had been discussed for far too long without implementation, even while I was still a moderator. Now that they've finally been implemented, though, I see things going a lot better for the server.

 

Please make it a rule "If you have a problem SPEAK UP" you know how many times I was "caught" for things I would have stopped if someone simply freaking asked?
