    Just kill her off and roll a new character, she's far too damaged.

    Honestly Vivian is a high value target and it makes sense for her to be kidnapped. At least, that's why my character tried ((and failed)) to kidnap her. It's also why she is quiet about her ship building business. Someone tried to kidnap her to force her to build a ship for them. They failed, and kidnapped a different shipbuilder successfully. Vivian is aware this happened.
