Hoenn is my favorite region by far. Emerald was actually the SECOND game that I played; Pearl was first. But after I lost my Pearl cartridge, I didn't have much to play until we got a new one. So I played Emerald in that time gap. Still am today. My favorite Pokemon, though, is Vanilluxe.
Typhlosion was the first Pokemon that i got to lvl 100 without using ANY rare candy's I grew on him and it easily became my favorite Pokemon of all time
I'm happy to see so much Hoenn love! It's my favorite region for the unique towns and new features like secret forts, diving and how much you got into the lore. Solving the Regi puzzles and stuff! I also feel somewhat old with blue being my first game with all the comments. First game I ever owned that was only mine and not my brothers that I got to play sometimes. Crossing my fingers for a RSE remake next!
Oh yeah, the Regi puzzles were wonderful. Then again, I LOVE the Regi's, my favorite Trio. Shame Regigigas sucks in-game, but ffff dat design.
I gotta go with dragonite as my favourite I know he's not the best pokemon but when me and me friends would play pokemon stadium I would wreck em with dragonite

So. I beat white version using an all-bird team. Yeah, it was hard, but I did it JUST BECAUSE I CAN. Even when they offered me Zekrom in the final battle thing I was all "Nah, I'm good. I got a Noctowl." I then proceeded to put on sunglasses and be a massive badass. With that said... TOGEKISS! And so many others... which are also birds.
Funnily enough, I pulled the exact same stunt in Y. Significantly easier when an "all-bird team" includes the version mascot and a speed-boost Blaziken.
Pah! Blaziken is not a real bird! Yvetl-whatsit is pretty cool, though. Still not as good as Ho-oh, though.
