You're obviously a fresh face. The United Systems has been in Antares for quite awhile, and has earned it poor reputation. From what I can tell what Glauen is talking about is only the most recent of issues. I've been around for the days they had a Yacht and mansion. Built several colonies that were also abandoned and left without the marines who use to run their security forces, endangered the lives of dozens of folks, and even got some of those infected with a deadly disease due to not listening to a licensed doctor that worked with their facilities, established outposts and "security" for colonies that didn't want their help, physically assaulted people they disliked for saying things they didn't want to hear, ignoring pleas from the people of Antares when ask directly to get involved with a hostile floran tribe, and the list really could go on. That is just stuff I recall off the top of my head.

You people might have good intentions, but good intentions aren't worth much out here. Just because you people try to reinvent yourselves every so often with different acronyms doesn't mean you aren't just the same bunch of people doing the same thing that got you hated to begin with.

Oh, and you claim to pick up distress signals. Well at one point in my bar there were four marines milling and someone requested help over the radio. None answered for the longest time until a fresh recruit did it. I expected you all to jump together to answer it. Cygnus does not deserve it.

And at one point someone went over the radio saying someone was stabbed at Katune, I had responded near immediately. Ended up helping Reed patch the avian that had gotten stabbed. ...Yet we don't respond to distress calls?

Four marines in my bar. None of them went to pick up the distress signal. Only the newcomer, after some time had passed. The person may have been dead already. That is what I saw, regardless of what you say.

Everything else I said still stands, by the way. Oh, one other thing I nearly forgot. One USAF saw a fully-armored avian holding a gun against another avian. He steps up and kicks him on the back of the head, which may have just as well prompted the avian carrying the gun to shoot and kill, and he didn't accomplish anything other than mildly inconvenience him. Is this what the USAF are teaching you guys to do? More pointlessly endangering civilians?

Oi, I was still ex-USAF at the time of that hylotl getting injured. I had little to no experience in the medical field, and I only knew self-aid. You can't hold liable someone who wasn't associated with the faction at the time. You wanna provide examples, get your facts straight.

And you think because we are working, or finding ways to forget about our misery, we are safe and happy? Of course, you wouldn't know, would you? Hiding away in your bunker as you do. Only coming out to drink and buy luxuries and more Human clothing. You hide away on a frozen rock, where you don't protect civilians. You don't protect a colony. You hide away on a planet that has no potential.

All the experiences my people have had with yours have been negative, with the exception of maybe one or two. Kluex, we warned you about the Templar here, and you still have the gall to say we are perfectly safe and fine? After a squad of Flightless march about Katune hunting Grounded, you insist we are fine?

Go back to your bunker, and your Humans. You'll be safe, right? That's all that matters.

Oh, suddenly it makes everything acceptable! You were USAF, then stopped being, and went back to being USAF prompty after you made that terrible mistake! It doesn't matter - you proved yet again how unprofessional you were. I first asked if we should get a doctor. You said no, it was fine. You brought us together to your ship, to an unsterile environment, handed a first-aid kit to someone who you had no idea if he knew how to patch up others or not. If that were the case... you should have just allowed me to take her to a doctor in the first place. You are doing yourself a disservice to think that "oh, I wasn't a member, SO THERE" suddenly invalidates everything.

But very well, it wasn't USAF. It was a member who used to be USAF then stopped being then returned. Changes very little. And everything else I brought up is still there, still uncontested. And that is only from my time here. I was told plenty of other stories from before I left Avos to come to Antares.

You're getting mad here, Glauen. Play civilized. You know I'm apart of the USAF, and have I caused problems? Not really. No point getting mad over StarNet either. If you're ever needing help, ask me or something. From kin to kin. Because like I said, I only want to connect with Avians I've been pretty much isolated from.

Well actually I wasn't even associated with this frontier's USAF. I was USN back in the Sol system. If you'd like to take up complaints, message my superiors. But honestly nothing can be done because A: It's over with, and B: I wasn't in the USAF's jurisdiction at the time. I only knew minor self-aid and also, if I remember correctly, no doctors responded after people put out calls.

So you're telling me that the entire human military is incompetent.

'The sin lies not in being outmatched, but rather in failing to recognize it' - if you only knew minor first aid then you should not have 1. said it was fine 2. taken her to an unsterile environment and 3. handed first aid to someone you had no idea if he even knew how to. We should have insisted over the radio or asked for someone who actually knew how to do it - and you said "no, don't call any doctors. I got this covered". Clearly you did.

You're good, as far as I know. I don't know everything wrong you people have done. The problem is you have people hired who have done grievous harm to civilians and they are -still- employed. And yes I'm mad. You want to know why I'm mad? Because the USAF are an insult to my time as Temple Guard in Avos. If you want to talk, I am willing to talk with you and all of the Grounded in the USAF.
