Make sure the ship starts off really shitty, at least until we actually get some ic plundering going on. Then we can roleplay the upgrades.
Yea I was thinking rusty and old as the feel I'm just not sure wha the design/shape of the ship will be.
Or Crimson Corsairs, or Void Marauders, there's plenty of possibilities. Also, I can offer Barrett's ship as one of our vessels. I'll make an FCS version of the ship I currently use soon

Would be awesome if it was like the airship that you find in game with gun vendors and NPCs on it. Though it doesn't have to be wooden. as for the name of the crew, a bunch of names could be listed and a poll can be created.
Here is a suggestion that will go along away in rping as pirates. Use a asteroid field to build a mother ship in as the central base so you dont need to have everyone online for your fleet to work. And it uses the fact that in most scifi pirates are station in asteroids to hide there fleet. as you get more and the loot can add a pirate harbor and city.
The only problem is Pirates need something to use for space travel and I would like an actual ship to be used for space travel
Also Dirty put up a good plan that we will be rolling with so everyone should tell me the race of their characters. We'll all be in one fleet but use different ships decided by race like different parties and we'll have different jobs for example one crew could be smuggling illegal goods while the other is hijacking a ship.

Barrett is human, and would love to be the captain of his own ship. I'll get to creating his ship soon, I've just got some seriously big RP going on with Astora at the moment which is taking up prettymuch all my Starbound time. Edit: tbh I prefer Crimson Corsairs over Void Marauders... Can that be my official suggestion?
