I love your art. Sometimes on a shitty day like this of practicing scales for 6+ hours it is nice to see such beautifully drawn artwork. The attention to detail makes me fell like less of a weirdo for being overly meticulous with practicing.

Ahh, well, this is after years of practice. I mean, I drew used to draw like this: Here's an animu dude that I'm working on for a friend, to wash the 2010 art away.
Here's the finished commission by the way! He actually asked me again just to do another drawing of the guy, a closeup of the face. I'm excited! I learned a ton from doing this and it feels good to try new things. For example, I'm pretty unfamiliar with male bodies and so it was a huge challenge to do three angles (let alone a back view!). But in the end I improved, and I should challenge myself a whole lot more with this stuff. View attachment 2286

We agreed if we had super powers, I'd have time control and he'd have fire PUNCHES. View attachment 2326 As you can see, there's quite a bit of a difference in line quality and color neatness between a doodle at 3AM and a commission... But I had a lot of fun with this and it helped me practice proportions between people, which I've been kind of lacking in!

I could give it a shot again, but it's a whole different feeling drawing that sort of stuff than drawing cute and happy things!
