[Interest check] A 'socialist' themed faction.

My Stalin senses are telling me that's just USSR backwards.

Well I'm just saying RSSU is a confirmed group already.

I've already tried to get government factions going, and it never made it to fruition. If you've got some really devoted supporters and a ton of members, sure, you might be able to figure something out.

 

Read this over, and I like the idea, though I read it with this playing the whole time, so.. My judgement is a bit skewed. And while I agree with some of the posters on the over-used style of 'socialist', I can see it working! Although, maybe take influence from non-USSR communism as well? Just as a thought. I'm currently drafting together my own interest-check, or else I'd see about joining in on this front. But never the less, best of luck to this.

 

My group, RSSU, took socialist ideals from Switzerland, not Russia surprisingly.

Well my laptop fried a while back but my guys are were just lying low for a while icly. I'm working on getting a replacement soon.

 

Switzerland isn't really socialist afaik, just a free market with a /lot/ of government regulation.

Wikipedia says that 18.7% of the National Council of Switzerland are social democrats, while only 0.9% are outright gosh-darned commies.
