I do not need Floran conspiracies or discussions on AI ethics, I require a dialysis machine. Could you stay on topic?
They either did not meet my needs or were excessively overpriced. I will not pay 250,000 pixels for a dialysis machine. Is there a way to insert a program into it without the need for an AI? Or to simply use it?
Well, for that you'd need a completely different kind of dialysis machine than the one I'm currently using. It'll need a lot more tangible functions for you to handle. This means that I won't be able to help you, since I'm not really one for making such machines. Look buddy, I'm sorry I hurt your feelings, but an artificial intelligence become a crying mess as long as the programmer knows what they're doing. Call me cruel or a fool, but in the end I've created enough artificial helpers to know what works and what doesn't. The real fool would be the one who is able to create artificial helpers, and who doesn't do it in the fear of breaking their non-existent feelings. - Gilleen
For the last time, I create artificial intelligences. I treat synthetic sentients like glitches and other beings created to feel and think for themselves just as well as I treat any other sentient being. The artificial intelligences I create are nothing like those beings, and are almost what you could call mindless. They're only good at what they were programmed to do, and they have no feelings at all. One might even call it an ethically responsible version of slaves. - Gilleen
holy shit non sentient AIs are VIs ya fuckin shit those are PROGRAMS??????????????????///////// like you couldve worded ur shit better holy furckin fr I C k
For those of you who make it this far through the diatribe, I am still looking to buy dialysis machines as described in the original post.
-Doc Moses I was thinkin' on findin' out if you actually get one, but that's not really useful here at Mills. Most common procedures include slashes, gunshots an' surgery on practically any body part you can imagine from accidents at mines an' factories. Love the work.
*Encrypted as R34P34r* I like this guy. He knows what he's talking about. Not to mention, he appears to be a very robust writer.
((JR Speech-to-Text Protocol initiated) Hey. You still looking for one of these diala-whats-it devices? I've got something similar that I think I can let go of now.
