Complaint - State of the Lore [Important]

Honestly, if there's a human bias in every race-- it's probably because hyper realism is spoiling all the RP.
Even the NIJ stuff is so hyper-realistic that it makes anything fantastical (I.E 90% of Starbound) implausible and undesirable.

 

Addendum

These experiments took place in a vast number of regions across the universe. Despite changing a plethora of variables, each civilization eventually destroyed itself when its technological progression began to overtake its social progression. The only exception was the Glitch.

For reasons unknown a fault caused the Glitch to become stuck early in the simulation, where they now remain. The experiment long abandoned, the Glitch are unable to shake their medieval values and beliefs.

From what I always understood, cultural progress halted while technological progress so chugged on. Ultimately, the question is, what creates more interesting RP. By giving Glitch access to these tool under circumstance one of three things will happen.

In the best scenario, this reignited interest in the Glitch and now a more traditional knight is an actually viable character with the potential to contribute.

In a mediocre scenario, we've accelerated the process of humanizing the Glitch and power armor might as well be kevlar. This can be countered by laying out guidelines for how Glitch armor works.

In the worst scenario, this utterly unbalanced combat RP and the Glitch get rebalanced. We're back where we started.
