    As a reference to the Bermuda triangle, a real life area of ocean where many ships and planes supposedly vanished without a trace.

    I'd been thinking for a long time that the spawn town, if there is one, should be called the Bermuda colony, since everyone ends up there somehow, miraculously. As long as the first person that gets there is a human, I'm all for calling it Bermuda.

    I believe this means we wont have a set spawn point.

    New Genesis (or just Genesis)

    Genesis means a beginning, a creation, or the formation of something. The Book of Genesis refers to the creation of the world along with its first man and woman. It also fits into the theme of being put into a new place and having to start from scratch.. like a Grand Exodus where we all left.

    Also off-topic, but I think I'll come back for a while if this idea fleshes out, depending on how taxing my college courses are.

    Correct, and reason I choose Canis Majoris is from VY Canis Majoris (VY CMa), a red hypergiant star located in the constellation Canis Major. It is one of the largest stars (at one time it was thought to be the largest known) and also one of the most luminous of its type.

    I figured why not give the server a name after one of the brightest stars known to man. Have the server be a shining beacon of RP for Starbound.

    I'll take a page from Node and suggest another, the Perseus Nebula, on account of the only recognizable stars left are the Perseus constellation, along with the partial displacement of many stars, the anomaly basically smeared some of them over the sector....
