    There have been multiple events, and mostly it hasn't done much. The reason most people are offline is because of spontaneous crashes caused by corrupted planet files. Not discouraging you or anything, just that it's been tried before.

    Usually summer fills up the server. I can say from experience when summer starts, usually applications pour in and so do players.
