    Name: Zealot's Shield-of-Faith Barrier

Description: A leather harness strapped beneath one's clothes, open in the front with a layer of cloth in the middle on the back. Attached to this back flap of cloth is a mobile sensor jammer, circular in shape. The jammer itself is a light grey, with a small black center that continually rotates. The profile of this device is very small, only able to be seen easily if the user's clothes press up against it or it is otherwise exposed. The grey metal around the black disc is painted to make it look like an iris in the center of an eye, with flames around it.

    -----------------------------------------

    Abilities:

Jamming Frequency - This device passively emits a radius of fifty feet of jamming signals, preventing the and anything within that radius from showing up on radar. It can also scramble communications, camera feeds, robotics and internet connection, however, both the robotics and camera feed distortion can only occur within twenty feet of the devices, and any recorded footage they had before and after the scramble will not be destroyed. This scrambling also affects the targeting system of turrets, droids, androids, visors or power armors, making their targeting reticles jump all over the place.

Overclock - If the jammer is overclocked, the mechanism on the back speeds up, gradually heating the entire device. As this process continues, it continues to build up heat and pressure until it finally detonates after five minutes of charging like this - it is however, not silent. As the device continues to heat, it will produce a soft humming noise that will progress into a whine as it reaches the dangerous phases. Once the device explodes, it has the force of a single fragmentation grenade.

    -----------------------------------------
Limitations - The jamming signal cannot penetrate thick surfaces, such as concrete bunker walls, the soil above a basement, and so forth. In addition, the absence from the radar still creates a small anomaly on the radar screen that can be seen by the operator if they are paying close attention. It also does not affect cybernetics, as these are directly linked to nervous systems.

Conditional limitations - The effect radius is dampened in the rain or snow, and the overclocking function may occur faster or slower depending on the outside temperature aiding or hindering it.

How does it work - The spinning disc in the middle of the device is essentially a tiny radio emitter, constantly jettisoning out garbage out onto all nearby higher frequencies to disrupt the communication between host and recipient. While it is an obvious effect, it is not easy to pinpoint where the exact source is coming from if multiple wearers are in the vicinity.

    -----------------------------------------

Flavor text - The greatest irony, perhaps, is that the Burning Eye worships the idea of being under scrutiny of an omnipresent eye in the sky, yet their most advanced devices hide them from anything other then the naked eye.

Attainability - While these devices are far more common than SKT armor, they are still a closely guarded secret of the Burning Eye, and will not be given out to any player that has not proven themselves worthy of the cause.

OOC - This is the Cultist's superior tech to help it stand off against the Open Palm for the war event I am planning. It will have similar limitations to how it can be used to the SKT Power Armor. Feel free to ask any questions and make sure that I get everything settled.

I'm assuming this is the other faction - and thus, their attempts to level the playing field against the Open Palm and their suits. So I'm going to take a guess this will be treated in the same way. How commonplace would the device be, compared to the Open Palm armour?

Otherwise, I don't have any complaints with the jamming device.
    I'll just approve it anyway.

Think of the hierarchy as Grunt < Soldier < Officer < High Rank < Commander. The Open Palm would be reserved for High Rank and the Burning Eye equipment would be Officer and up, so per 1 suit of power armor, there would be about 10 to 15 of the barriers.
