The purpose of "Sempervines" is for them to take over the galaxy! (Well, obviously, IC.) OOC, they provide Floran antagonists who are truly despicable. The reasons for picking tribal florans are a variety of reasons.
    • They are a faction that can replace lost members very easily. This comes at the advantage of creating dynamic events that allow people to mass murder savage, tribal florans; while not over-flooding people with armored, gun wielding soldiers.
    • All events in which there are 'throw-away' characters will be done to not win. They will of course try, however, they are default set to lose.
    • In the events of an actual attack, they will be done with player-controlled characters. This is to enforce the differences in each attack, which will be explained below.
    • In events where 'throw-aways' are used, these florans that Amanita Stem command are 'unproven' and not in the actual tribe; they are saplings that he has gathered and coursed into going with him. Stem does this to test the waters of the colony, see their weaknesses, strengths, and such. Typically because of this, he loses most, if not all of his squad each attack. When he goes to truly attack however, it is done with absolute no mercy. They will attack with all they've got, and spare no one. Because of this, attacks of this magnitude must be discussed with everyone involved, naturally, just as with the prior event; however, with the added reinforcement that these florans are indeed some of the 'best'.
