If there was a point in life in which you could return to in order to change the outcome of a situation, what would you attempt to change and why would you change it?

We all make mistakes in life. Sometimes we wish we could fix those mistakes.

    I'd change going to Antares.
I would want to stay home.
    Obvious reasons.

That question has always been a two-edged sword for me. On the one hand, there are plenty of times I wish I could reverse time a few seconds to undo my stupider mistakes. On the other hand, because I'm a stupid mortal, I tend to see things in two dimensions. And I don't mean that weird feeling people get that everything is either East, West, up, or down but never North or South. I mean, like, we can only see what we've done and what we're doing, but never stop to think about what we eventually will do.

Would it be nice if I could go back in time a few weeks before my home system was wiped out by a supernova and evacuate everyone? Would I like to be able to persuade my dad from not going on the trip that ended up leading to his death? Maybe, but without both of those happening I honestly don't know where I would be now. So much has changed, I've grown so much, that it's hard to imagine my life without those hurdles.

For some of us, mistakes and hardships are the only way we can wake up and be who we need to be. So I honestly don't know.
