As you guys probably know, the update to 1.0 may delete all the colonies. That means the people who maintain them have a lot of rebuilding to do. So, what are the rest of going to do until then? There won't be any colonies at the time. So my idea is basically groups of people can go on a planet for a nature/resort type thing. Basically tents and campfires. So if anyone wants to develop this or something that would be great, I'm just putting it out there.
That's just it. It's an arms race. Whoever builds a bar first will have the traffic and set the tone for...ever. The person least interested in replicating the old colonies will be fastest (especially since we likely won't have cheat mods for a few days/weeks. In reality... that may be closer to reality than I'm comfortable admitting right now.
Well that certainly sounds like an issue, but I'm just trying to set up a system for people who won't be building things, to prevent all the interaction from grinding to a halt.
We can congregate on a planet, get our funeral attires and bury deep into the ground old Antares quadrant to bid farewells while new one is set up.

Characters will probably be the easiest to preserve. World files and ship files are likely to be force wiped due to the addition of so much to biomes and AIs to ships, etc.
