Up until now, new TSS operatives have been designated a mentor and given assignment to shadow them. While this has sufficed for some time, we have decided to try and begin group training sessions in order to maximize effectiveness as a team, and make the most economic use of resources and time. Outlined below will be an extensive training program. Some can be completed with a supervisor, but all must be completed in order to be considered a full TSS operative. Optional programs, such as the infiltration module and OCPD training course are available upon special request. [Please post your available times, and post in this thread whenever you complete a part of training. Once we have a good time picked out, a training schedule will be developed] -BASIC TRAINING- Modules marked with * can be done individually with any fully registered TSS operative. 1. Weapons Training * 2. Basic Hand to Hand 3. Formations 4. Physical Training 5. Knowledge and Application * 6. Team Tactics 7. Non-Lethal Approaches * Once an operative has completed all of the above, they will officially be inducted into the TSS program, at which point they can start advanced training. - ADVANCED TRAINING - Due to the nature of advanced training, only those who have completed the course can do individual training and only in special circumstances. Those who successfully complete Advanced Training are not considered a higher rank, but are considered for team command on a case by case basis. 1. Specialized Weapons Applications 2. Advanced Hand to Hand 3. Specialized Hand to Hand- Knives 4. Specialized Hand to Hand- Batons 5. Team Direction/Command 5. Intensive Physical Training 6. Field Survival Techniques Once an operative has completed all of the above, they are considered to be capable of team command. While they are considered capable, they may not ever be awarded command. Specialization after this point is not required. - SPECIALIZED TRAINING PROGRAMS - These programs are optional, and have some prerequisites. - OCPD TRAINING - In order to be considered for the Law Enforcement program, a TSS operative must show exemplary skill in Basic Training, especially regarding Non-Lethal Approaches, Team Tactics, Knowledge and Application and Formations. Advanced Training not required, but Specialized Hand to Hand- Batons, Team Direction/Command and Specialized Weapons Applications considered an asset. [WIP] - FIELD INFILTRATION TRAINING - In ordered to be considered for the FIT program, a TSS operative must complete the entirety of the basic and advanced training programs. Due to the nature of the FIT program, it is done mostly on a case by case basis. However, group classes are available. [WIP]
I would be available for training and instruction at approximately 21:00 hours on this date. ((9:00 EST))
All TSS operatives and shadows intending to take part in training tonight, please post the time you will be available. -Britton ((Please post the time in either EST or CST so it's easily determined. From whoever posts we will determine a good time where most if not all people will be online.))
