Good day all. I am here yet again. Looking for hired guns. Ive been taking some time on this, obviously due to making sure info was correct. I have discovered two forms of opportunity. Each risky in their own way, and each having their own way of a reward.

The first opportunity comes from a drunk archeologist I met in my usual bar spot. Moron was quite willing to share his stories of his findings. He spoke of a long abandoned glitch settlement, likely a group that had split off from their homeland and settled down. Only to fall due to whatever reason. How exactly they left their homeland im not really sure, though I don't really care how they got there rather than the fact they are there and their belongings still remain. The keep that sits upon the top of a hill in the center most area of the settlement is our target. The drunkard had apparently tried to excavate the ruins within. But several traps had been laid to secure it from tomb raiders. So, after loosing about eight of his coworkers, they gave up. Though, they were only equipped with simple digging tools. We would go in armed and likely able to even blow the traps away, if they are stable enough to not collapse the whole place. It isn't all that old though, so I doubt it would be an issue.

The second opportunity I have discovered from a previous encounter with old hires. A file-cabinet containing old exploration locations as well as coordinates for locations of interest has pointed me to an old abandoned Junkyard. Supposedly there are three avians within that call it home, Something noted about Steampunk with them, Though im unaware what is meant by this. Our target in this place is an old junker bus that had been captured by the three. Supposedly the file states the bus was an old Escort that was being taken through the area. Some undesirables ambushed it and scrapped most of the parts off of it. Leading to our three avians taking the shambled thing into their home. Apparently an old case left behind by the previous owners of the bus contains something of high priority. And high priority goods tend to leave a hefty net price. I have scouted it out. I couldn't get too close obviously, but I was able to scout out the package due to the bus's shambled state. I know its there. Though the open view of it does bring some question.

I feel these both have a high value worth salvaging. Containing a fair trade to those involved, I myself willingly taking the lesser cut, but I can only do one or the other at the moment. Both routes could be taken by another at any point. I have scouted the locations and they are very much there. Though as to the goods within, It depends if someone else has taken them first or not. Luckily I know the package for the junkyard is still there. But it isn't open. So im still not sure. At the least, I expect whatever contents either holds will be somewhere in the 200,000 range. Of course most of that will likely be pulled down by splitting of funds to those I hire.

Nevada: other attention I bring? All we need to know is it can turn a profit and it wouldn't likely hurt anyone who doesn't already deserve it. Those avians have killed for the junk they have in that scrapyard. And the glitch settlement? Empty from what I could see. All boarded up and no lights whatsoever. I scouted that settlement for three days. Place is surely empty. Of course thats the reason for being armed. Incase something does pop out that I wasn't aware about. But I don't expect any of the locals to be around.

As for fear of others listening in. This is one post out of many thousands, well, Trillions. Starnet is a massive use program. Likely if they even use the black market, hardly anyone is going to see this specific post. Though regardless, that is why when Things are ready, I will tell you through direct message what the likely plan is. Wonderful, And busyness is fine for now. It will still be a bit before we can get things rolling in motion. Just want to make sure things are as silent in that village as I believe it to be. Ive set up a small camera on a hill overlooking it, to make sure I can watch for any movement or signs of life within. So far there has still been nothing. If there is anything you need to get out of the way first feel free to do it. It may be a bit till we get things going. <E>

 

(( Son of a gun. Apparently got a supersize visit to our house coming over. Im gonna have to focus on cleaning for the next few days and I still gotta finish building the dang event location... Sorry if you guys have been waiting yet, felt id have more free time for this. Apparently not. isn't cancelled. Just not gonna be able to work on building until likely Thursday... X(

Edit: Also, if anyone knows how to use Teledoors, I'm likely gonna put one on the Keep door so that I can fit hidden passages and such inside without them clipping through the village outside.

 

((*Sigh* Welp. Life situations have happened recently folks. I was expecting to have a lengthy period of free time to set this up and play it out. But life likes to be rather rude and interrupt plans. So unfortinately Im gonna have to put this on hold till further notice... I dont want to, but Recent events limit my freetime and I wont be able to stay on long enough to play out the whole event im planning. Im not cancelling it by any means. Just gonna be awhile till I can get to it. Ill leave any updates to the situation. Sorry for those who have been waiting. :/ ))
