    My single player experience so far has been more laggy than when we had serious problems with mass teraforming with super matter manipulators. The game is nearly unplayable.

    With a little elbow grease I got the creative mod from the last unstable release working on the new update. I'll spend some time making it multiplayer friendly over the weekend.
