    Don't use any mods that aren't approved. Also check out the FAQ.
    And if you want, you can read up on some characters or settlements on the wiki!
    Oh, and its usually good to research colonies before going in, incase you're rescued, cause people'll usually ask "Which colony you wanna go to?"

    one more question, I noticed a few colonies use slave trade, how does that work? are players captured or npcs or what? :)

    Some are captured, usually against their will IC, but with full support OOC.
    Oh, and some are NPCs, others PCs.
