Rumor Hill is an idea I've had for a little while now. I've pitched the idea a few times on the teamspeak to mostly positive results, so I figured I'd pitch it here and see what the majority of the server thinks. From the outside, Rumor Hill is a quiet town on a planet not too far from the center of the sector. It has a few businesses, and residencies. Perhaps a factory or a junkyard. In reality, it appears to be nothing special. Just a normal civilian planet. But if you live on the hill, you know far better than that. It is far more mysterious than that. Upon the completion of Rumor Hill, I would like to option bi-weekly mysteries. Totally spooky, I know. This is how I would like to have things play out Have players and player groups send in "mysteries" Option one of the mysteries. Let that player or group run free on the hill slowly building up their story Have other players interact with the story by finding clues, and investigating incidents Stop the bad guys (Or not which might have permanent impacts to the Hill) Have fun I am currently just looking to see how many people might be interested in this sort of place before I set it up. It would be a little bit of infrastructure, and likely some talking with the mods, especially if I am going to be allowing anything totally spooky to happen (By that I mean anything supernatural of any variety). If anyone wants more details, post away and I'll see what I can do to answer any and all questions.
Sounds good. Like, really good. Could create much detective-RP, seems interesting. If you want to use an alredy-there colony, I'm willing to spooky-fy Stark. We need more things going on there
Stark doesn't quite have the feeling to it that I am going for. I'd honestly like to build something more akin to Liberty Mills. Something that is nice, but has a little bit of grunge to it. You were born to have your character solve silly supernatural mysteries?

I do have an issue. Rumor Hill does sound a tad ridiculous. I mean, chances are though, there's a place somewhere out there with the name 'Bumfuck' or 'Arsefacey' but I mean, still.
