The Lights of Mud

    Thirty one years ago, the people of Mud arrived in a great fleet of dozens of colonizing ships. On the night of their landing, the Lights of Mud were first seen. In the sky they appear like fire-- the stars become kindling and the dark night becomes bright again.

    Now, with the introduction of outsiders to Mud, I think it's fitting to celebrate this yearly event together. According to our astronomers, the lights of Mud shall appear again on Thursday the 28th of July, visible by eye from the clay. To celebrate, all food and drinks shall be free, for a great feast at both the cafe and Fog's tavern. It's best to go someplace on Mud with open air and just stare out at the glimmering sky.

    Both outsiders and residents will be welcome.​

    During this event you'll be given an opportunity to leave the planet. Anyone remaining afterward consents to injury or death. Efforts to help protect Mud will not go unrewarded.

    This is the final event for Mud.

    It will begin around 5pm PST (8pm EST) on Thursday, July 28th.
