There are several rules that must be followed if one is to become and remain a member of the Knights of Ragnarok. Failure to follow these directives may result in expulsion from the Order and revoking of granted lands and titles.
    1. Protect the innocent. A Knight must not waver to offer their assistance to those in need of it, and to guard them against any threats that may appear.
    2. Obey the law. A Knight must follow the laws of a planet on which they reside, unless these laws explicitly and immorally contradict the Knights' Creed.
    3. Obey your superiors. A squire must attend to and follow the wishes of the Knight that he serves, and a Knight must obey the commands of the Knight Commander of his branch of the Order.
    4. Cooperate with your comrades. Petty squabbles and in-fighting between Knights will lead only to disunity and fracturing, and thus is not permitted. Any serious grievances are to be settled in a method agreeable to both parties, by duel (though not to the death), or by the Knight Commander.
    5. Fight only with justification. The purpose of a Knight is to protect the people, not to fight them. A Knight should use his weapons only in self-defense or in the apprehension of law-breakers, and should not kill when it is possible to avoid such action.
    6. Do not evade responsibility. Knights and squires alike should take an active role in the protection of the colony, performing regular patrols and reports to their superiors.
    7. Bring honor to the Knights. A Knight should work to better the prestige and the recognition of the Knights of Ragnarok, through their following of the above directives as well as their personal dealings.
