    Q. Who are you?
    A. We are a platoon within the 437th Indigenous Forces Battalion, nicknamed the 'Indigenous Guard.'

    Q. Are you USCM?
    A. No, this group's only affiliation with the USCM is a command element, a MARSOC CSO, and some members who had previously served as Marines.

    Q. If not USCM, what are you?
    A. This group officially belongs to the United Systems military branch known as the Interspecies Militia, though they are Council funded and they have a Council appointed operations commander that supervises IG activities here on the fringe. In layman's terms, the group belongs to the United Systems but the Council controls them.

    Q. Why are you here?
    A. The group's purpose on the fringe is to act as the Council's eyes and ears, observing hostile activity such as raids or providing an early warning should the looming tentacle threat become active. They can also act on behalf of the Council's dedicated forces with the right authorization, allowing them to combat lesser threats on the fringe.

    Q. Are you above the law?
    A. Above the Council's law? Nope! Anyone can report the Guard's actions to the Council if they are abusing their position or neglecting responsibilities.

    Q. Does this group have access to USCM bunkers or any other asspulled resources?
    A. No, we decided a while ago "finding" bunkers and "restoring" them was kind of dumb, also too convenient. We have no intentions of miraculously finding Marine gear and using it for ourselves, all we have is the basic equipment our characters arrived with (which is limited to their rifles and kit.)

    Q. Are you going to abuse your knowledge of guns and armour in combat?
    A. No, we do not plan to use nothing but our face-annihilating destructo-rounds on people, nor do we want to force people to die when they're hit in the chest. If you're going to say you have body armour and want it to stop rounds though, you better at least do some research.

    Q. Do you intend to lose battles for the sake of fun?
    A. We will definitely extend OOC courtesy for as far as it will go, but I won't sugar coat it here; we're not going to lose if it makes no sense. In a majority of scenarios, the group's members will fight in the most tactical and conservative manner they can, as to avoid losing, as they logically aren't going to want to lose.

    Q. Do you care about the community and your contribution to it?
    A. Yes, I care immensely.
