So here I am! Anyway, I have three characters I will probably be playing with: Miace: The Minty Fresh Floran Orion: The Precious Dumb Baby Glitch Corhy: The Way Cool Better Than You Hylotl Anyway, I actually have some questions that I can't seem to find answers to: Do I need to reset my characters to play with them here, or can I make my characters before putting them on here? Welcome! Enjoy your stay. It's an aquired taste. Nope. You can just import characters you have already made when playing offline. Hell you can even play a character offline, go online, go offline again to edit your ship and it's all good. As a side note I suggest at the very least getting the Creative mod and stocking up on a lot of food. Characters are going to starve VERY quickly. A mod should help you out with this, but I found all the info I needed Right Here before I made my application Right Here. I suggest picking one character and developing well for your application. You really hit a bad time. Our RP hub (Asani) had members of its security and Viceroy kidnapped by cultists, then gangs showed up graffiting and selling drugs, THEN the hospital was torched and there wasn't enough money to re-build. AND THEN the inn/tavern had to be sold out to the very same terrorists whose goal was precisely that to begin with. AND THEN they kidnapped one of the last remaining members of security and accidentally shot him after they've agreed to a deal. AND THEN the gunshots warned an ex-member of security who called people to raid the bar, which ended up being burned to the ground one or two days after they bought it for a ridiculous sum. It has been awfully eventful. To put it mildly.
So should I just wait for the stable update when things (Hopefully) get reset? Cause this sounds like a rather bad time to just hop on in out of the blue.
Mostly it's important to figure out where people are going at the moment. I'm not even sure where the main hub is myself, however. Wayward, maybe?
I think I phrased it wrong - any time you start is as good as any other. Just that sadly we're lacking a unified hub. Just log in, say over the galactic radio ( you put in R: ((your message here )) ) that you are in distress or something, clarify to people that you are a new guy in the server, and you should start RPing in no time.
About this, my character Steven was told to basically keep the hostage from walking. I, OOCly as well as ICly, took this the wrong way, and just decided to shoot his legs out. FUN TIMES! Thank god I had Steven run away from the whole thing claiming innocence.
