--+Welcome to+-- OOC Description: ((I really like to build, and getting inspiration from all the colonies I've visited before, I really want to make one. I had a few problems though. 1: My character didn't fit the part of mayor, so i'm making an Alt character named S-PHAI, or Sophie. basically, this colony in short will be a space station (smaller than most colonies) where characters and come and go to commute. Like all other colonies there will be spaces for rent, including a start of 6 apartments, 12 storage spaces, and 2 shop spaces. there will also be a bar and a med bay. The colony will be located on an asteroid belt. so when the character spawns in, there will be a locker filled with oxygen tanks (the life support one) so your character and survive there. each major sector of the station will have checkpoints, these in witch can be locked down from key points of each sector, and prevent the vacuum of space from destroying the place. Along with the states facilities, the space station will include 2 towers, and a sub tower. The first tower will be residential. Characters can live and relax there. the second will be commercial, where shop space can be bought. The sub tower is the basement. The first sector will consist of rent-able locker spaces where players can store things. any one who has bought property on Sanctuary may enter this space, including letting people in. the second sector will include all the behind the scenes. this includes life support, security rooms, a nuclear generator, the cockpit, and tons of twisting dark tunnels to connect it all. These tunnels can be access by anyone, but the rooms can only be accessed by Sanctuary staff, including the AI and anyone and works on the overall structure. Finally, the deepest sector will be the engine sector. let your character explore the absence of space wile navigating the engines of Sanctuary. make sure you don't get burn! overall, This thread is to see if anyone would be interested in such a place. I was think more like a trading post. I can supply you with the necessary funds from Taranis tourists. I'm right next to that colony, so I can send the profits gained from ore refining towards your city. otherwise we'd have two colonies right next to each other competing for economic dominance.
Uhm... Just make sure your cool space station doesn't become an actual Sanctuary for criminals and the like. I recommend you hire security companies or mercenaries for protection, I'm up for the latter. But in any case, sounds like a great place to hang out at. I'll be sure to check it out. - Shadowstep
