So at work, I've started buying a movie soundtrack each week on iTunes and playing it. People love it, and I don't know what to buy next. I'm focusing mostly on the classics right now, but I'm throwing in a few funnies. Last week, I bought Jurassic Park, this week, it was Madagascar 2, But I'm not sure what I should buy next. Suggestions are welcome, I'm looking for pretty much anything good, and the obvious ones are anything by John Williams, Hanz Zimmer, Danny Elfman, the big ones.
Oblivion soundtrack is deep and depressing mostly, partly why I love it. Might not fit well though... Guardians of the Galaxy. Nuff said. HOOKED ON A FEELIN! Tron OST by Daft Punk, for all your electronic needs. Star wars is always fun, cant beat it. Inception is cool. Mostly orchestrated stuff. (note the overbearing scifi theme, nearly the only movies I watch are scifi.) Idk, personal favorites, pick and choose whichever.
I might go for Guardians of the Galaxy, and I had forgotten about Oblivion's glorious soundtrack. Oblivion>Skyrim any day of the week. Never was big into Tron, but I'll definitely look into it. I like Inception lots, that's a Hans Zimmer one.
The Soundtrack to "Papillon", and to "Kill a Mockingbird" are some of the most revered soundtracks in movies. Theme starts around 1:00 minute in. I like Michael Giacchino a lot though. UP, and Ratatouille. My favorite video game soundtracks are odd though. -Phantasy Star Universe( All of them. PSO EP 1 + 2, 3, PSOBB, PSO2.) -Stanley Parable -All the Bioshock games. -Don't Starve. -Battle block theater. I'm a little tired so this might seem kind of rambling so excuse me.
If you've not seen FMJ, take the time to watch it, it's a great movie. Whenever I listen to "Hello Vietnam", I burst out crying, because it reminds me of how much I love FMJ, and how sad some of the scenes were.
