Recovering Characters

    On the numerous tries i did to enter the server after the bug that was happening to me.
    I lost my main character Bob.

    So how do i recover him plz

    Characters are stored on your computer, not the server.
    You may want to ask on the CF forums as well.

    Assuming you know the UUID of the character, you should be able to find the backups that are stored in your player folder under giraffestorage in your Starbound installation directory. Once you find the backups, all you have to do is delete your current player file, the broken one, and rename one of them so that the file extension is just .player rather than .bak1 or .bak2. My own recommendation is to use .bak3, as that's your oldest character backup and if any of them will work, that will. Then you should be able to boot up Starbound and open the character, if it was successful.
