Question on planet claiming

    In order to claim a planet, we need to submit an application or make a colony? Like myself and betterhalf would like to claim a planet for our own, what rules would apply?

    Applications are only required if you wish to make a public colony that gets a listing in the settlement subforums. If your characters have the IC means to settle on a planet of their own as a 'home' planet without the intentions of making a public colony, they're certainly welcome to do so without having to apply.
