Laser Based Weapons Spoiler: LP-M1 'Talon' Price: 700 Px Synopsis: Sporting an extremely mod friendly build, variable settings, and modular capabilities, the Laser Pistol Mark I, 'Talon', makes for an extremely flexible handgun, much more so than many kinetic weapons. It features an Oak handle, polymer base, and a tungsten sheet covering the barrel and energy cell. Though interchangeable, the standard settings cause the weapon to function as follows: It can fire up to twenty shots before overheating and requiring a new energy cell to be loaded, the shots move at approximately 2,500 feet per second. This means the target will tend to be hit by the projectile long before the sound reaches them. DANGER WARNING: The weapon CAN and WILL explode if the energy cell is locked askew from the power receptacle while the power flow conduit is engaged. In this state, firing the weapon will cause rapid overheating, and then an explosion. Spoiler: CC-LR 'Torrent' Price: 1,200 Px Synospis: An elongated and faster firing upgrade from the LP-M1, the Close Combat Laser Rifle, or 'Torrent' is designed for open combat rather than self defense. Relatively small and concealable, the rifle features a laser dot sight mounted on the top, and an extended power cell at the bottom featuring cooling presses on either side. The weapon can fire up to fifteen projectiles a second, and can fire forty shots before the energy cell runs out of energy. The weapon's firing rate is static to prevent overheating, tampering with it means you're consciously endangering your life. In this state, firing the weapon will cause rapid overheating, and then an explosion. Spoiler: LR-LR 'Reaper' Price: 3,000 Px Synopsis: Likely the deadliest laser weapon currently available on the Antaran market, the Long Range Laser Rifle, or 'Reaper' can fire at a maximum range of up to a mile, has a variable zoom, and an elongated barrel featuring a focusing lens to increase projectile power and penetration. The Reaper fires it's projectiles at about 3,000 feet per second, and the farther you are away the less likely you are to be discovered. Like other laser weapons, there is no recoil, the projectiles are almost three times faster than the speed of sound. Despite these clear advantages as a long range rifle, the firing speed had to be drastically reduced to compensate for the increased heat output. Though this weapon still excels at taking targets down from a distance. In this state, firing the weapon will cause rapid overheating, and then an explosion. -------------- Plasma Based Weapons Spoiler: IPR 'Psycho' Price: 2,800 Px Synopsis: The Ionized Plasma Rifle, 'Psycho', features new breakthroughs in Plasma based weapons tech. Using Hydrogen Fusion Cells for ammunition, and a Ion sink at the barrel to positively charge any propelled plasma, it emits a projected ball of plasma at your adversary. The rate of fire is respectable for such a weapon, and can fire up to twenty shots before it needs to be reloaded, but beware of overheating or any gas that clings to the barrel. Clean frequently. DANGER WARNING: The weapon can become blocked if the barrel isn't properly maintained.
