In all honestly, I must admit it sounds like this idea has very little ... anything behind it. It really sounds like you could accomplish the same with just being an organic, seeing all you did was swap ageing with "going insane". Especially seeing ageing itself isn't a big thing because it literally takes years. If you want to develop this idea more and come back, feel free. But at the moment we don't see the reason behind it to make it worthwhile.
