No rule against it. I personally RP my lizard-thing as a personal pet. Plenty of fun to be had with an IC pet. Just know they can't do much IC for combat, as they're "just animals"
Sure, don't see why not, as long as they're not a vicious space-race eating monster. EDIT: Of course, don't take lack of rules or lack of my statement as a free pass to do whatever you'd like. I mean, feel free to experiment, but if something happens and we have reason to think that a new rule would be appropriate based on events that have occurred, we may create that rule. Our rules are generally made as needed, and are only made if logical and warranted. 'course we wouldn't punish you for breaking a not-yet existant rule.
