So instead of just a average POV journal, I'm dramatizing my character Bloo's experiences in Antares. Hope you enjoy!

"For pluck sakes!" she yelled to nobody.
The blue haired girl kicked the machine she supposed was a communication station for what had to be the hundredth time. The truth was, like everything else in the room, she had no clue what it did. Or where she was. Or WHO exactly she was. There were only three thing she knew. Firstly, She had woken up in a strange lab that was locked up tight. Secondly, she alone. Since the time she woke up not a soul had been into the locked room that seemed a cell to her. Lastly, inexplicably, she was good with computers. Not just candy good, but CANDY MOUNTAIN good. So with her skill and seemingly limitless time she searched the data in the servers that seemed to dominate the wall space around her. She found two things. The place she was in was a USCM science lab working on a "Project Alistar", whatever that was. Secondly these USCM guys liked to ramble. A lot. Oh, and that the only thing that should be there were the "project" and some scientists. From the remains she could see through the sealed door just outside, she amused they were the scientists. Which meant since she wasn't wearing some dorky lab coat or a pair of too-thick glasses, she must be "Alistar". Yet everything in relation to the "project" referenced the same serial number. BL00. She liked the sound of it. So Bloo she was. Bloo Alistar. And thus, with little else to do, she began looking in the data for the location of any type of communication device.

Not long after she smashed a rather uncooperative server into oblivion, she thought she heard a dinging. Or knocking. Or Banging. Suddenly the door to her cell blew inwards with a rush of sandy air. She was caught so off guard that she failed to notice the ominous figure swoop into the room, clinging to the ceiling and eyeing this confused girl with devious intent. Not long after another man came in. He approached her and asked her, despite her obvious excitement of seeing another human being, if she had made the distress call. She tried to take credit, but he saw right through her. The figure chuckles inwardly. Such a naïve little girl. She will be an easy target. The man however.....he wears an standard issue armour. Militant grade, very effective. So he bides his time, waiting for the moment the ruins can be his to raid and loot. He doesn’t have to wait long. They go to leave and walk right under a liquid plasma vent, and running through the exit the figure shoots the fragile glass. The man protects her, but at the cost of damaging his armour, weakening it. Excellent, the figure snickers. After much treacherous navigation the man takes the lab-girl outside where he is greeted by the cool desert moons. The stars are so beautiful, and yet something of this scene is off. Then he sees him. a figure seemingly made of shadows emerges from the high ground. The man draws his sword. The shadow draws his machete. The girl, just now noticing the danger, pulls her gun out and, in obviously untrained fashion, points it at the shadow as well. the shadow laughs. This will be fun. He lashes out and a fight ensues. bullets and sparks fly but the shadow knows this well. He is as living combat. In turn he strikes down the girl and man in turn and collects his trophys. The man is taken away, probably by some gadget in his suit. The girl is not so lucky although only minorly wounded, as the shadow thinks himself as a sickly chivalrous, he tosses her some stims. Before she can ask what the are for or even beg for mercy, he draws his pistol and fires two rounds into her knees. She black out instantly and he leaves her, a twisted grin as he beams away leaving the girl to die.

It is not long before the man returns to find what's left of his attempted rescue-e. He curses to himself. It wasn't supposed to be like this. Then he hears it - faint breathing. He searches and finds her, alive! He beams her to the med-bay of his ship and treats her as best he can, being careful not to accidental do something indecent, and patches himself up. He then looks at the now - stable girl and realizes something.

He doesn’t even know her name.
