Brave Soldier Saves Companions! Combat medic Corporal Reed of the USCM is being recognized due to his heroic actions in the aftermath of the USS Jupiter's crash onto an uninhabited planet. Even though the crash eliminated many of those on board,not all were lost thanks to the actions of the quick thinking combat medic who was one of the lucky few to survive the crash. Corporal Reed managed to stabilize the conditions of two other crash victims while ignoring his own crash related injuries, and due to his efforts will be awarded the Durasteel Star next week. Experts are still speculating about the cause of the crash, although some seem to believe that it may have been caused by space debris that collided with the ship mid-flight.
