Why not? I was doing this for a friend so I figured: Would Antares want to see? I thought you guys would so here you go - the first step I have taken into Nerf customization. Firstly, this is a Nerf Retaliator with included stock, barrel extension and 12-mag. Might repaint some other attachments if this becomes a thing... So yes. First thing I did was disassemble it to preserve the mechanisms - I still want this to be usable when it's done! Next, I sanded down the logos and bullcrap on the sides to give a greater space for some designs using school's belt-sander. I then doused the pieces in GW Chaos Black paint as a base. Currently waiting on this to dry. I'll get some drybrushing, detailing and other things done tomorrow... Let me know what ya think, and don't expect anything of godly skill, I am at best mediocre.
Got some work done today! 4+ hours of straight work, oh boy! Well here you are, step-by-step pictures of my work on Horror: Going for a tentacle and eye pattern across the whole. Just a couple more touchrs to this and then it's the stock!
