We all know that the 1.0 update for Starbound is looming over. I've brought this up with a few people who have been with the community a while longer than I, so... When the update comes, will everything be just reset? Like, all the characters wiped, buildings gone, all that jazz. Or, am I being dumb and everything will be alright.
Whilst I cannot be the most reliable source for this question since we have no idea what universal and character changes the update will contain I would say that at the very max it would effect the universe, it's highly unlikely that they'll force everyone to delete their characters. So don't get too worried about losing your character. TL;DR - Characters are here to stay, Universe may be wiped.
