Hello, all! As you may have already noticed, I've added a new medal system just to add a cool reward system to the forum. It's similar to the one implemented on the Chucklefish forum. By default, most medals won't be easy to obtain, partly to prevent them from becoming spammy and partly to give them some actual value. If folks like these medals, there'll be more to come, and perhaps even a few community made medals could be added. Feedback on this would be appreciated! (Also, if this thread is locked, please PM me. Seems to be a bug? I'dunno.) Thanks!
I don't quite understand how one actually unlocks these things. I linked my Steam Account on pretty much Day 2 of Account Existence, and I still have not acquired the trophy or the medal. Also I'm pretty sure my copy of Starbound is legit.
How are the medals actually given? Do the staff have to take time to check it themselves and click my name in order to send a medal or something to that effect?
They're automatic, and not exactly bug-free. Sounds like it glitched for you. I'd love to have this stuff reported to me, otherwise I can't look into fixing it.

How about years of service achievements like steam. 'Cept in this case, it would be months of service.

How about a voter medal? You could make us log in to vote and then keep track of the number of times each account has voted per week/month. You could either have a medal or a banner that says voter+ or something for the top 5 voters of the month. That way, the server gets more votes and we get more prizes. Incredible.
