I'm looking for some guns from mankind's glory days, you know, like an M4A1 or M1911. I'll also look at guns that look familiar to the old style, I like the classics, what can I say? Name your price and we'll bargain. -Evan Lockheart
Why the hell is there such high demand for archaic human guns? Modern weaponry is superior in every way, price included. It's not as if they were the weaponry of your childhood. Let's move forward, people. -RayBeluga
I can't understand this for the life of me. Hope you find the antiques, they go well on walls. -Dynyl
Well, that is like asking why do Florans use bows when they know there is modern weaponry? Maybe its because bows still prove to be decent weapons, and maybe, just maybe, its personal preference? -Evan Lockheart
There's no law against it. I was only stating my opinion, anyhow. Hope you have luck finding the weapons, though. There tend to not be a lot left, the U-SCUM went into using pulse-rifles, basically trashing the old weaponry. Any weaponry 300-500 years old would most likely be somebody's prized possession hanging on a plaque. Unless you're looking for something like a redux, perhaps the model of it or something like that. There's that Boris gunsman with a lot of old-looking weapons like that. -Dynyl
Thank you for the tip, and yeah, I just like the style, I don't need one built in that time. Oh, and sorry for the harsh reaction, I thought you were just here to scold me for wanting a gun that wasn't a UBER PULZ RIFL. -Evan Lockheart
I think it has more to do with bows being easier to make in the wild. Florans are not exactly good at building things. They just reverse engineer things that they find. So you can't expect them to mass-produce rifles. Heck, in most cases they probably don't have the social graces to buy rifles or earn honest money to do so. [email protected]
That's all true I suppose, but my point still stands that maybe they'd prefer a bow over a plasma rifle just because they know they know that a bow is a little more reliable than a plasma rifle, like, it doesn't have a chance to explode in your hands(if your using regular arrows). -Evan Lockheart
A ruddy old wood-stock, jam-fest of a rifle is better than a sleek, state-of-the art compact mag rifle? Or pulse rifle? That's confusing to me. Weapons today are far more reliable, as long as your'e not buying from some maniac who's shortselling pars or munitions. [email protected]
Only on Starnet do they attempt to belittle you even for how you can shoot someone. I personally like classic style ballistic weapons over energy cell based ones. Something about the sounds, and the satisfying kick in your hands when you fire it. The smell too actually. Keep fighting the good fight relic collector. -B00mb1rd
