This out-dated datapad looks beaten and battered and is usually tucked away in Polly's coat pocket or hidden away in a bookshelf in his ship's quarters.

Early logs are corrupted beyond reading, marked with warnings of excessive heat, the most recent log is of poor quality, but still playable. In the background of the log the low roar of activity and the moving of boxes.

"Captain's Log; Stardate.. Billy! Billy, don't drink that!" The log picks up the disappointing groan of a young man. "Anyway.. We've just settled down, the crew and I. We found an empty temple just outside the system to kick back in, there's a bit of a smell that we can't quite pin down, but we'll track it down eventually. Star has already cleared out, saying he's done with the place. After what happened with Spades, I can't say I blame him." The background noise seems to quiet down at the mention of the name. "We'll see if we can pester him once we sell off everything and.." The log is cut off by distant yelling, followed by weapons fire. Judging by the muffled sounds, the logger shoved the datapad into a coat pocket to get into the unseen strife for a time, squawking orders and shouting for people under the fight, the weapons seem to quiet down, to be replaced by the sounds of the logger breathing heavily and running on stone, and after a small thump, metal. The metal bootsteps grow fainter and fainter up until silence, followed up with the sounds of a Starship firing up, accompanying the sounds of static filling the log.

If one were to continue listening through the log they would hear the soft sounds of sobbing before about two months of faint activity once again, interrupted by static on an occasion that was growing more frequent as the log went on. Near the end of this log, the sounds of metal scraping against metal before the logger from before speaks up again.
"Oh, that's where you ran off to? How long have you been down here?" A quick whistle confirms his question has been answered before the log ends with a beep.
