So, long story short: I was visiting random planets after work to go on my regular relaxation walk with a camera to take pictures of the scenery and I ran into a group of humans wearing leather rags and fur skins. They were having some sort of festival and wanted me to talk to their chieftain, who was called Eaglewing. I thought it was going to be a n Avian but it was another human who taught me about these people called "Native Americans" back on Earth hundreds of years ago. Apparently they like to live off the land and believe there's a spiritual tie between them and nature, so they colonized a planet that they said reminded them of "The Great Planes" and threw away all technology. I was about to just move on until I found this old man selling wood carvings and hand made glass sculptures from a white tent. I can't really explain this but... Does this thing look like Hawke or what? I've never seen an Avian with this anatomy before though. So I took a picture of it with my camera and bought one for my home. I had to pay with a few shiny metal screws I had lying around in my ship since the old man didn't take any pixels. I never thought Hawke was a "Native American." -Captain
Well I'm not talking about Earth, I'm talking about this tiny-winy-little-Hawky-wawky made of wood. -Captain
but you mention "NATIVE AMERICAN" you sssay isss EARTH clearly thisss is mention of earth. why even native american? never heard of. is preposssterousss. -Treepuller
Nevermind. I'm so putting this thing up on a rack or nightstand or something, I can't help but laugh every time I see it. -Captain
-Henry- Sarcastic. Humans' culture still amazes me today. Factual. Analysis of data shows that the wooden carving shown is not a sentient Avian but is of an ancient Earth species named C. cardinalis. A bird. Frank. Then again, said data was recorded before I was even built, so it is probably wrong.
...and that chunk of painted wood is an artistic recreation of a "Cardinal" as you say. Therefore, Hawke is a cardinal. -Captain
Annoyed. Although this reasoning is simple-minded and completely wrong, I'm just going to agree. Yes, the wooden figure is designed to resemble a "Cardinal".
...AND Hawke! It's Hawke, I know it, jut looking at it makes me chuckle. Itty-bitty-wooden-Hawkey-wawky. -Captain
Cynical. It's a coincidence. The chances of the Native Americans knowing about Hawke are: Zero percent. ...Curious. How do Avians chuckle?
I KNOW that, but it's a funny coincidence. We chuckle with our beaks, like a chirping sort of thing except in small increments... I don't know, I didn't major in Beak-ology. -Captain
I got one of those neat tiny bird statues too. Guess it's made by humans too! Or somebody else. No idea. -AvesmingoComet45
um, I think its just ornamental and stuff, humans had a weird fascination with birds. -GoldenOne ((Goldplucker))
