After nearly a year (more like a few months, but that's an eternity for college students) of hiatus to focus on college, the crapload of PS4 games that launched at the exact same time, and anticipation for the next stable update of Starbound, I, Maz Noviak, return to the land of the living! Or, rather, I will be once I rebuild my character's gear since...well...wipe. ...It's at this point that I also remember that all the people who would remotely recall Maz and had interacted with him in any respect either left or are probably IC dead by now. And now I remember why I created a thread here in Introductions to begin with. *achem* Alright, so, for those of you unfamiliar with my identity, I'm big on the whole Role Play thing. I'm generally an agreeable fun-loving person, and my primary character Maz...well, he's not exactly a gruff uber serious human. Like, at all. Someone draws a large gun against him, he'll ask if they're compensating for something downstairs. Someone threatens his life, "Join the club, buddy. You're the third one I've met this week and it's not even Tuesday. I hear they have cookies. The club, that is." Someone suggests a bloody rebellion to overthrow a corrupt government, "Right, because nothing says 'we want freedom and peace' like murdering everyone and anyone who disagrees with you." And *gasp* he has a moral compass but isn't an asshead about it! Shocker, I know. I've got two other characters lined up (including a Novakid now that they're a thing), but because of the wipe I'm not going to whip them out until I rebuild their inventories and civilizations are a thing. Until then, I'm looking forward to leaping back into Starbound RP!
