    Hylotl Power Blocs

    [HR1]
    [/HR1]
The Hylotl Power Blocs are political parties within the Hylotl clan system that advocate for different cultural guidelines to be taught in education centers. Unlike economic systems, which are typically handled by the individual clans, these culture groups are spread throughout multiple clans and serve as a uniting force between them. The three most prominent are as follows:

    Nagarizu Bloc
    [HR2]
    [/HR2]
The Nagarizu bloc advocates near absolute pacifism and a focus on higher learning and the development of helpful technologies in lieu of any military research. Nagarizu has a strong presence in the Hylotl parliament and is responsible for much of the Hylotl government's pacifistic foreign policy. In addition, they support seeking to put an end to the infamous Hylotl-Floran rivalry, although this remains a distant hope. It has strong support from the majority of the Hylotl youth in addition to respectable numbers of other demographics as well. It rivals the Axsaisho bloc in terms of registered members.

    Sutokabe Bloc
    [HR2]
    [/HR2]
Sutokabe believes that, while pacifism is an important part of Hylotl culture, it is also important to respect the military forces that do exist, and that the defenders of Hylotl-kind should be proud to do have the job. They typically advocate for basic education of concepts like honor and fair play in warfare, along with pushing the concept of respecting soldiers instead of scorning them. They also fund many charities designed to support retired veterans, who often have difficulty getting a civilian job due to the public's dislike of them. Sutokabe has the smallest amount of registered members of the big three (but the largest amount of registered soldiers), but those members are typically far more dedicated to the bloc than the average supporter.

    Axsaisho Bloc
    [HR2]
    [/HR2]
The Axsaisho bloc believes that while war is a necessity, unlike Nagarizu, it should not be seen as honorable, unlike Sutokabe. Axsaisho typically advocates for the development of automated weaponry and wide-ranging chemical and biological weapons and pushes the concept of slowly phasing out the traditional Hylotl military with such devices. In this manner, Hylotls will no longer have to risk themselves in battle and the military system itself can be abolished. Axsaisho's members typically come from all walks of life, from less idealistic youths to soldiers who believe they can finally bury the hatchet. While the party has existed for a long time, being particularly influential during the Hylotl-Floran war, it is only now returning to prominence as a member of the three largest power blocs.
