Help with FCS

    I seem to be having trouble with the FCS mod. I've replaced my character's ship file with the FCS file and renamed it with my character code, but for some reason my ship just goes back to the default Avian ship with the starting items in the ship locker. Any help would be appreciated!

    Did you delete the old ship world? Try again, but only in SP.

    Yeah I deleted the file and did it in singleplayer. Didn't work. Maybe the version I'm using is outdated?

    I also deleted the .BAK files, does that change anything? Those are just backups, right?

    I could be wrong, but I thought that mod was out of date. Could that be what's messing with things?

    It works fine for me and, to be honest, I haven't updated it since before the patch.

    Best thing to do is delete your .shipworld file from your Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\player\ folder, then add in the .shipworld file from the FCS zip -to- that folder and rename it to what your character's ID is.

    Note: make sure to keep the extension as .shipworld or it won't work.

    When you rename the .shipworld file, do you type the name or copy/paste?

    I click rename, then copy the name. Then, I go to the FCS file, click rename, then paste the name. I'm not mistyping the code, if that's what you're getting at.

    If your music isn't working, make sure it's in the "assets/user/songs" folder, not the regular "songs" folder. My installation had both after one of the patches, but only the former has any bearing on my music.

    Just redownload FCS and copy the shipworld in again, if you havent already.
