I have just been accepted into the community, and i'm awaiting server restart. So im just wondering, considering the fact that we can't share pixels, is their a global currency that most people use?? Or is it all just trading items with each other?
We work on the basis of 1 px = 1 dollar, it's completely innaccurate but it's easier to measure things. A drink? between 2 and 9 pixels. We rp out most of the things. It's kind of up to you to not be ridiculous with what your character owns and can spend in correlation with who they are and what they do. People will tell you your money is counterfeit and they don't trade in that, if you're being ridiculous. It's a RP server, people don't really trade most items. One kind of items people do trade is weapons, but most of the commerce is RPed out. As in, people exchange banking info, give pixels out ICly without sharing their pixels OOCly, etc.
Generally, people just throw stuff back and forth, or give pixels to people in emote. the thing is, It's all RP. You don't need materials and the like, minus procedurally generated stuff. The currency is pixels, if you want to buy something like a drink at a bar, just walk up and emote handing them 10 pix or somethin', Chit, Credits. IDK, you can use a variety of things, but it's easiest to just use virtual (Non-voxel) pix.
