GCDC Makes University story go across Council Space

    University destroyed by black goo; GCDC raises awareness​
    Earlier today Starvard University, a local community college, was overrun and destroyed by what locals described as an infectious, "black goo." The Galactic Center for Disease Control (GCDC) has since decided to spread the story across across Council Space. There were over 200 confirmed deaths and 19 survivors, 14 of which were injured and quickly hospitalized. Several black figures were reported to have fled the area, and are considered potentially dangerous. Reporter Jim Harper managed to talk to Bolly Gainslow, an official from the GCDC, who gave a statement regarding the situation.

    "We can't confirm much about the substance," Gainslow said when asked to describe the substance. "As far as what to say to the public, well, if you see anyone with any black substance on them, or anything similar, you are advised to contact the GCDC immediately. Do not panic, this is not a panic situation."

    No other information on the black substance has been released, and the GCDC have requested that any available information about it be shared as soon as possible. The GCDC has stated repeatedly that the situation is under control, and that the public has no need to worry. No other similar instances have been reported as of yet.

    The GCDC still continues on the case of the black goo, one suspect has been found.​
    A new update today on the case of the mysterious GCDC case, as yesterday the GCDC found and chased a currently unnamed individual from the university across Council Space, finally arriving at a colony known as 'Seafeather'.

    Upon arriving, GCDC officials "Tailed the suspect throughout the city, and at one point, he almost pulled a weapon on us." The suspect apparently attempted to hide, but was eventually found, at which point officials say he ran and eventually was caught.

    When asked what followed him being caught, the GCDC said that the situation was 'handled well, and the individual had to have desperate measures taken to take care of them.

    A majority of Seafeather is now quarantined by GCDC, and no-one is allowed in. We will hopefully soon have more on the story, but that's all for now.
