It is entirely possible that such expressions are being typed to express a point or emotion in some way. Some individuals do seem to write in the way they speak - including with their natural accents - and that has always confused me greatly. I suppose it is an issue of comfort for those who do so. Many Glitch also type out their statement of intent before a message, not realising that their intent can easily be expressed through proper wording and letter-writing. However, since most Glitch are illiterate, I consider this an unfortunate effect of a greater problem, and tend to excuse it. Alternatively, he could be using one of these "speech to text" programs that has been mentioned, though I have yet to encounter any, myself.
