Adrift on a lonely derelict... The damaged combat drone begins to come online.
A few milliseconds pass, the machine starts to boot-up.

Echo's visual sensors flicker on, casting a ghostly orange glow on the debris around it. Milliseconds pass, Echo tries to access its memory in an attempt to figure out where it is, and what had happened. The bot is only met with darkness. No data available. Echo Seven has been separated from its battalion, units one to one-thousand nowhere to be found.

All units are equipped with a dead-mans-switch, a code that would self-destruct the robot in order to protect the technology from falling into the wrong hands. A code designed for situation like this. Without remorse, (It has no emotion) Echo activated the code. More milliseconds pass, but nothing happened. The explosion never came. It would have been confused if it had the ability. The lone robot starts its exterior scanners.

The robot's head slowly turns, the noise of the servos muffled by the vacuum of space. Through its visual sensors Echo can't define exactly where it is, the metal and tubing of the ship being too mangled to have a solid idea. The bot tries to move, but something is impeding it, upon looking down it is obvious its lower legs are pinned, the large metal beam keeping it down is lodged in the wall. Echo is trapped.

Echo makes the only logical decision to conserve power.

Echo Seven will remain dormant until its sensors detect something of interest.
