Interestingly, some information companies claim there have been multiple reports of half second activity periods of signals from barren planets around the Fringe. Many have chalked it up to being a distress signal that was manually cut short -- others speculate it's something the Council doesn't want them knowing about. Upon investigating said planets, a relatively empty bunker had been found on each one -- all the same size, material, so on so forth. Said bunkers were made to be mass produced, and there isn't a known manufacturer. It seems whatever caused the distress signal to go off, was able to extract whatever was inside before folk came to document it in time. Whatever is left in them are thoroughly destroyed, but experts claim it was once robotics. Few people wait in anticipation for these signals to surface, hoping that they may get there before whatever presumably owns it does -- to perhaps catch a glimpse of their true purpose.
