Work Needed. My name is Solour. I was part of the old USAF. After it's demise. I went off. Now, I'm back. Things have, changed greatly. I'm out of everything, And need work. Name your own price. - 'B.B.'
It is recommended that you list your skills and abilities before advertising your services. Otherwise you can expect a low paying, unskilled, temporary job, such as cashier, painter, lawnmower or bartender. Skills: Electrical engineering design Particle physics Macroeconomics Sociology Farming Law Industrial manufacturing Usually things you can get degrees in Not skills Shooting a gun Painting walls Being a nice guy "Pretty much anything"
Ahem. A skill is the ability to do something well, likely with expertise. Being able to shoot a gun well? That's a skill. Painting a wall perfectly without messing up; and applying even coats each time? That's a skill. Being able to interact with people in public while giving off a vibe of being nice, rather it's faked or not? Sure, that's absolutely a skill. Even being able to move your arm well is a skill, or even blinking. "Pretty much anything" is a skill as well. I can tell you what you're unskillful at; not knowing the meaning of skill. Writing this post is also a skill. And you reading it is a skill. Also being a smart-ass is a skill. -Rational
Please note all of your corrections involve turning the activity into doing an activity 'well'. Any fool can shoot a gun. Any fool can paint. However, the purpose of this thread is to get this man a job, not nitpick and argue senselessly. Solour, please state your CAREERWORTHY skills.
Solour, you should find work outside of Antares. This sector is shit, especially without any big Armadas or Fleets trying to pick apart the scraps for some hidden gem. - Clarice
Anything involving more-or-less physical labor. Things, such as science, and mathmatics? Not my strong-suit much. Sure, fixing things is pretty good to note. Oh, being able to sow up a cut's alright. Oh, trust me, I have. What I found out there, was less welcoming than here. That's saying something. -B.B.
So, you're post-military, yes? We'd like you to stop by New Uganda sometime, talk with the man called "Arizona". Perhaps one of our guarding jobs, or something would interest you. - Tony
You can help me around with sorting some things out. Like crates and that. Think we've met, too! -AvesmingoComet45
