[Interest Check] A technology oriented, neutral faction

Hello, Its Grey.

I though what might be cool is if there was a sort of technology progression based faction, unknown from the public and far from anyone but the group knowing. Their goal is to further progress technology in Antares, clear from the radar and free from raiding their research. The faction as a whole would rarely give their information to others, yet some of their defective prototypes are occasionally leaked. The group mostly contains apex miniknog exiles and hylotl's, but is not limited to other great minds and scientists. The base they live on would be a death star esque setup, located on an asteroid feild.

Their name? Most likely, The ATSA or Advanced Thinking Society of Antares

They would contribute more to how Antares progresses as a whole, maybe even letting the Outcasts gain knowledge on a secret device.
Im interested to see what your views are on this before trying to create this faction.

 

Ok then, perhaps I shall make a change, maybe make them semi public by making them sell their latest tech to the highest bidder, aka a Technology cartel of sorts? It wouldnt be like a gang, more so a group outside parties never see, yet talk to over starnet and radio about pricing for tech. It could be either a weapon for the Outcasts or a way to defeat them.
